If the idea of slipping away somewhere beautiful and a little bit magical sounds like your perfect wedding day, Frieda and the Moon might be just what you’re looking for. Hidden in a quiet Cornish valley close to the coast, our ceremony spaces and gardens are designed for small, meaningful celebrations where you can truly be yourselves.

You can say your vows in our oak-framed Studio — all warm timber, soft light and stained-glass glow — or wander down the woodland path to the Hornbeam Circle for a candlelit, twilight ceremony under the trees. Afterwards, head back to your private hideaway, hop into the hot tub, or relax by the fire and watch the stars come out.
Our grounds and interiors offer countless places for photographs. Step outside and you’ll find leafy gardens, rolling countryside, woodland trails and big skies that seem to go on forever. Indoors, you’ll discover spaces full of warmth, character and a little sprinkle of magic.

Our Licensed Ceremony Spaces
- The Studio — an oak-framed sanctuary with wooden floors, an Italianate ceiling, and our much-loved stained-glass Ocean Window.
- The Circular Lawn — sky-high views and open-air “I dos”.
- The Hornbeam Circle — a candlelit woodland grove, perfect for dusky, atmospheric vows.
Onsite Accommodation
Spend your stay in one of our cosy, tucked-away cabins — The Tabernacle or The Observatory. Expect handcrafted interiors, a bubbling hot tub, a chimenea for starlit evenings, and far-reaching views across the valley. It’s the kind of place where slow mornings and long, lazy evenings happen naturally.

Frieda and the Moon — Ceremony Only
£1,495 + VAT
A sweet and simple way to focus entirely on the moment itself. Choose your favourite ceremony space — indoors or outdoors — and enjoy a relaxed, intimate celebration with nature as your backdrop.
Includes:
- Choice of licensed ceremony space
- Getting-ready room
- Hand-tied bouquet and buttonhole (or two of each)
- Flowers for the room
- Bottle of Champagne
- We will be your witnesses
Optional Extras:
Romantic meal for two · Basic photo package · Owl or alpaca ring bearer (yes, really!)
The Frieda and the Moon Escape
£2,015 + VAT
Make it more than a moment — make it a getaway. This three-night stay gives you time to settle in, relax and prepare, enjoy your wedding day, and then unwind with a gorgeous mini-moon on day three.
Includes everything from the Ceremony Only package, plus:
- Three nights in one of our gorgeous cabins
- Romantic meal for two

The Full Frieda and the Moon Experience
£2,685 + VAT
The whole shebang. A beautiful ceremony in the Studio, three peaceful nights in your hideaway, and a candlelit twilight handfasting in the Hornbeam Circle. A little whimsical. Very magical.

- Three nights in one of our gorgeous cabins
- Champagne breakfast hamper on your wedding morning
- Exclusive use of the Studio and gardens
- Option for an outdoor ceremony on the Circular Lawn
